Marriage can feel absolutely amazing or it can feel like true misery. Trust me, I've experienced both sides and right now as I type this, I feel quite down.

We all have some days when we feel inspired and motivated to exercise, work, cook, clean, etc. But what about the days when we're just not in the mood to get that stuff done?

Sorry, folks. On our not-in-the-mood days, we STILL owe it to others and to ourselves to get certain things done.

So how do we motivate ourselves to get off our behinds and get busy? We go against how we feel and get busy anyway. Sorry.

I mentioned something yesterday in a thread that I think is worth stating again.

I said that I don't understand people that tell us their business on a public discussion board, ask for our input & opinions, but then get mad at the responses. That just makes no sense to me.

Personally, I enjoy many of the forums here. However, whatever areas of my personal life that I know I'm extra-sensitive about, I don't discuss here.

Has this ever happened to you?

I'm hungry. (Check). I decide what I want to eat & mentally compare it to what's in the refrigerator. (Check). Put the food to warm up in the oven. (Check). Come back after awhile only to discover I forgot to turn the oven ON! (Uncheck).

In the interest of full disclosure, yes, I did get mad. And yes, I likely said a few words that I should not have. But then, afterwards, I thought to myself "Is this really THAT serious?"...
