More uni stuff

It's been a few weeks since I've started uni and I feel like I'm finally finding some equilibrium in my life.
So far I have the following lectures:
-Calculus: It's ok but rather basic. So far we are just reviewing what we learned many many years ago which is rather tedious but It is calculus after all so I'm sure it'll pick up and eventually get complicated enough to melt your brain.
-Real analysis: Well it's what the name says. It sounds like a down to earth look at numbers though we mostly talk about the letters N, Z ,Q and R. We also mathematically showed that there is in fact a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
-Linear algebra: I don't enjoy these lectures very much but who can blame me? Vectors drive me insane.
-Proof,Probability...(I don't know the full title because there never is enough space): We have an italian dude for this and it's pretty cool. Right now we are doing whats called "Reductio ad absurdum" or proof by contradiction. It goes like this:
1) I assume I'm right about something
2) I contradict myself
3) Therefore the opposite must be true
-Programming: This one is tedious but only because you have to fix every single mistake on every program you make. We are being taught java and, usually, when I compile I get a message like this:
Which means I have to go back to the source code and fix them one by one.
Then there is the stuff outside lectures:
-Gliding:Very fun...well it must be fun...well it looks fun but I haven't been to any meetings yet
-Salsa lessons: I can't dance but dammit I can't consider myself a latino without having at least put some effort into it!
-Rubix: I'm starting to think that this is a place for people who happen to be masters of disguise. There was the schoolnight dance, the sports score night, 80's night out, farmyard dance, traffic light yam and there's even a fetish night coming up. What kind of person would seriously be expected to have an 80's Miami vice suit in their closet?(I mean I do but my hair, as it is right now, is too short to get a pony tail anyways)
-House:I love my room. The people who build this place were very smart and made the walls thick enough to prevent my music from disturbing others. Anne, my deeply Christian friend from room 4 makes me some really yummy cakes and takes on the role of a mother in our otherwise useless group.
The other day I was sick. I had a fever, a sore throat and I was coughing a lot. When Pavel saw me, gave me one of his russian home remedies. He took 2 shot glasses and filled them with vodka. He then put pepper on them, handed me one and said cheers...I don't think it helped much(In the sense that my thoat felt like it was on fire after seconds) but boy did it make me feel good.
Later on Xavier gave me some chinese tea to help my throat and even taught me how to speak some mandarin
Senilla and Heidy both tried to get me to speak some Nepali and Arabic respectivelly but I can never pronounce any long words that don't have any vowels in them
