I went to my young Cousins "Viewing" ... I dont know if I said this, but, he is also my 'GodChild'... (from when I was a Catholic at one time).
Its hard to believe, that all the kids I bounced on my knees are all grown up, and have kids of thier own... One even has started on her 'grey hair' !!! Man, THATS enough to really make some one feel old, sheesh!
Ok, my Cousin from Tennessee even came up and he is going to stop by our house before he goes back. He and I are the only 'woodworkers' in our family, and he is also a Fireman and EMT down near Memphis.
He wants us to come down, but, we have to see how our schedule is going to go this year.
(I also told my Wife's Cousin from North Carolina called and I informed them, that my Wife intends to follow them down, when they come up and return back to NC, and they were very happy about that). So, I have to 'move' and get off my butt, eventually LOL. What I am going to do, is drive down to either place, and take a full day to recover (It takes a lot out of me driving a long distance, as I used to do it to Missiouri--12 hours--and her Aunt and Uncle never understood, why, when I got there I had to sleep so much..Usually, I would get off working swing shifts and take off, and boy, would I be whipped at the end...I wouldnt know if I was on flat land, or going up or down a hill!!!). So, this Summer its going to be an inrereesting time for me and the family. I just hope my Son can come with us, or, if he is working, we may have to leave him behind.
Eric Moore, may you Rest In Peace and you had many friends and family who loved you.,.And, I cant wait to see you, when I get to cross over myself, eventually
