Bad Business!

I was talking to my Wife...
It seems that one of her Cousins is in bad shape...
Apparently, he is a drug user. He got ahold of one of those 'Cancer Patches' (the ones with the liquid filled, that are the best type, because the ones with the stuff mixed in with the glue arent worth the effort to put them on!-->personal experience using them for the pain in my back).
Well, he 'shot up' with the liquid...(Now, this 'liquid Morphine is supposed to be dispenced in 'micrograms' over a period of three days, and when you drain the liquid from the 'patch', it usually results in an instant Over Dose and DEATH!!).
He is in the hospital now, (he did survive, because his Wife found him when he dropped and called the Paramedics). He had quit breathing, and his Wife apparently helped him breathe until help arrived. His fingers are BLACK, and he is bleeding out of the site where the injection was at... He is also in a coma and they dont know if he will come out of it or not.
They are going to cut off his arms, (both of them), tomorrow, because gangerene is setting in...
This is more of a tragedy, because he just recently graduated High School, has a Wife and baby, and now, if he lives, he will be an invalid or worse, for the rest of his life!
We had others who have done this, and its been in the Local News, on Television a few times a few Summers ago. Those kids died instantly, before they were even through injecting themselves...
Why people dont take this seriously is beyond me. Fortunately, I got rid of my patches, when I went back to pain pills, (even then, I use them sparingly)...
So, a life that maybe cut short...
A family that is traumatized...
Relatives that are praying...
All for an individual to 'get high'.
Suprisingly, this didnt make the local News, but, maybe with word of mouth, this may avert someone else's disaster.
I wish them well...
And, my prayers are with them...
