A Poem for my Wife

You ask me how much I love you,
And I cant say for sure.
How much of the sky is blue,
Or how much is there ocean shore?
I’ve loved you from the dept of my soul,
And will love you to the very end.
Marrying you was my ultimate goal,
If, to get you, every rule I had to bend.
You are the ultimate prize for any man to hold,
And the one that was my ultimate goal.
To lose you, wasn’t in my sight,
I couldn’t imagine life with out you, just wouldn’t be right.
When I took you for my Wife, it was a scary moment for me,
Being young as I was, unsure and untried.
In love as we were, I’m sure you could see,
My love for you, was true and no lie.
How much do I love you? Its too much to tell,
All in one sitting for there is so much to say.
I will love you til there is no more, and all is well,
For each night, and each and every day.
Each day holds new love for me, and promises to be told,
Each night holds new meaning for me, of love that is untold.
How much do I love thee, let me count the ways,
I love you more and more, each and every day.
I love you always....
