This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

From Beyond...

Posted 08-20-2013 at 07:51 AM by woodworkingmenace

My Dad contacted me 'from beyond' about five days after he died.

I dont expect anyone to beleive me, even my kids and Wife doesnt LOL...but, its true.

I was trying to sleep at night, (light sleeper with out my meds to help me sleep), when I went to turn over. Now, for all you know, you 'cant' turn over in your sleep, you 'have' to be awake for that movement, and I was.

Suddenly, my Wife comes at me and shouts "Jesse, I told you to keep an eye on "Daughter" (insert her name there)!!
She threw a fistfull of cut up construction paper at me!

I just covered my head and thought, "Now what did I do"??? Then, I figured I should just face the music and ask what?

I take the blanket off my head and look. My Wife was sleeping peacefully in her bed, (she was fully clothed when she threw all the paper at me), and I looked around, no paper at all, on or near my bed.

I half expected to be given a 'sign' from him, after he died, but, nothing so dramatic as that!

Back Story:

The reason I expected to be contacted by my Dad is this...

My Boss down at the Sewage Plant is Croatian. A mixture of Checkoslovakian and other minorities he said.

In thier culture, he was telling me, they used to put the body in the parlor, (part of the house for recieving guests), and some one would stay with the body all night.

His Father was elected to stay with his Grandfather when he died. Now, in thier Culture, they would put two dishes out. One for washing thier hands, and one for washing the sins away from thier entire life into the bowl of water. They were given a towel to dry thier hands with.

Now, his Father sat up all night, and can tell you that no one approached the bowls. Come morning, the towel was used, and the one bowl was BLACK! The sins were washed away they said, and he swears that no one ever approached the bowls and cant say why or what happened to do this!

Now, when his Father died, my Boss was in his Dinning room, and he had a picture of his Dad on the wall. Suddenly, the picture 'glowed'. It only glowed for a few seconds, but, my Boss 'knew' that it was his Dad, and that he was 'ok'. (No, my Boss didnt continue the tradition of the bowls for his Dad).

So, thats why I was waiting to see if my Dad would contact me from the Grave, and he did. I didnt think it would be so 'dramatic', but, I reckon that Im still 'hard headed' and he thought I really needed something to get my attention LOL...Sure did!

I told my Daughter, while she was on the phone with her girlfriend, and my Daughter thought I was losing it. It took me a few days to get through to her, that she was doing something 'wrong' and that her PapPap was watching her!
I hope she changes what she is doing, because only she knows what it is, cause I dont.

I wish you well...
