Hired her Cuz to do all the work for us in my Son's house, so he can get in there for Thanksgiving.
Well, he fixed the bathroom, and it leaked down into the drop ceiling of the living room.
Took out six panels, and, fortunately, the last panel 'pooled' the water before it hit the electricity for the light in the ceiling!
There is no electricity in the bedrooms.
There was some in the front bedroom, then, he went and hooked up the light to the back bedroom, and lost all power to both bedrooms!
Now, we have to hire an electrician to get the power on both bedrooms, and put some sockets in the kitchen and living room.
Also, we found out, that the fuse box is just 'hanging' from the wires!! When I put it in, it was secured to the wall... I don't know what my Brother in law did, but, he really did a doozy to that place, sheesh!
Well, Electrician is coming at the end of the week, to scope out the project, and wont be able to get to it, until after Thanksgiving. That's ok, Wife and her Cuz are going to get the carpets for the rooms tomorrow, and he and his boy are going to put them all down before the Electrician does his work.
I just hope the house doesn't burn down before all this work is done... Waste of a few thousand dollars if it does, hmmmmm...
But, I rather it burn down before my Son gets in, instead of after he is in.
Going to get him smoke alarms for all rooms, just to make sure he will be ok.
