Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Daily Meditations And Affirmations - 21

Genesis 12:1,4 - "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him."

Abraham may not have known where He was going, but He did know what He was looking for. He left ecverything to be a part of what God was building. This is also our quest, to be a part of what God is doing (our DESTINY).

Mark 9:23 - "Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'"

If we choose not to heed the leading of the Spirit and become PROACTIVE in renewing our minds, it is possible that we will limit God's power and anointing from flowing through our lives because of UN-RENEWED thinking patterns that we are still embracing.

We have the potential to believe impossibilities into possibilities.

Let's break the bondage of a passive spirit. Let's take up the sword of the Spirit and embrace the fight of faith!

Observation:

THE ONLY LIMITS I HAVE ARE THE ONES THAT I PLACE UPON MYSELF.

Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee."

PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT, IT IS THE ABSENCE OF INNER CONFLICT.

Romans 8:6 - "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace".

Galatians 5:22 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith."
