Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Advancing To The Next Level

Posted 07-11-2023 at 10:00 PM by Albert Finch

Isaiah 55:6 - "Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near."

We are instructed to seek the Lord while He is near. We are reminded that we only find the Lord when we search with all our heart (see Jeremiah 29:12-13). If we make seeking Him and His kingdom our top priority He will take care of everything else (see Matthew 6:33).

We can’t remain satisfied and contented with our lack of power and spiritual authority -- a cry of desperation must burst forth. “Enough is enough!”

Are we willing to pay the price to seek the Lord for promotion?

We are in a season of swift acceleration and advancement if we put God first.

There is a wonderful grace offered for us to advance in times of adversity!

The invitation is extended to all saints; however, by a lack of commitment many will disqualify themselves. This is a time to be desperate for the revealed glory of God. One of the marks of these overcomers will be a hunger to understand God’s purpose for their life so they can advance His Kingdom and bear fruit that remains.

HOLY HUNGER DRIVES US

This holy hunger will drive us to seek the Lord on a much more increased level. Jesus states “Blessed are those whose hunger and thirst for righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God, shall be completely satisfied!" - Matthew 5:6 AMP

It’s time to remove all lids of limitations off, believe God for big things (see Ephesians 3:20-21). The promise is that the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God’s glory (see Numbers 14:21 and Hab. 2:14).

The Spirit of God is stirring our soul and awaking our heart to seek deeper depths and higher heights. This is the time for us to go all out for Christ and the Kingdom of God. We don't hold back -- we surrender ourselves completely to the control and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The statement is so true -- deep is calling to deep (see Psalms 42:7).

"Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:19

"You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve], which you have not known. They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word], and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them." - Isaiah 48:6-7

To proceed to the next new level we must advance and make progress.

"Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise redeeming the time, because the days are evil." - Ephesians 5:14-16.

In this next new level of our Christ calling we will begin to grasp a higher clearer insight into the majesty of the Master. Prepare to behold the Living Lord Jesus in a much clearer way. It is time to taste the hidden manna reserved for overcomers revealed in :

Revelation 2:17 - "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat."

A FRESH NEW SEASON

God wants us back with Him, not distracted or lost in the daily "rubbish," or mundane natural surroundings, which attempt to keep us away from God's presence. God always wants us in His protective presence. In that pursuit, we find that it becomes an "abiding place" to be under the shadow of our Almighty Father's wings of love. In pursuit of the Father, we learn to trust Him!

God gets all the glory. We allow God's Holy Spirit to refresh us and bring us into a fresh NEW SEASON.

HAVE WE MOVED AWAY FROM OUR PURSUIT OF OUR FATHER?

Obviously, now is the time to run hard after His heart! Now is the time to pursue our Love with Abba Father – our true First Love!
We seek the Father and not "busyness" to keep legalistic, religious rules. As we seek His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE and not just the benefits of "His hand," we will find that the more we know Abba Father, the more we will be deeper in love with Him and His family and have a desire to advance His Kingdom!

"Matthew 7:8 AMP - "For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened."

We are in a new season of intense pursuit -- as we pursue Him now, we are assured our Father knows how to REVEAL TO US OUR CHRIST CALLING.
