Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.
What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.
Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)
"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)
"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)
"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)
"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

"And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness." - Acts 4:31
It is in the upper room, where you encounter Jesus and look into His eyes, that the revelation of this apostolic age will come. The revelation of this Kingdom age will come by looking into the face of Jesus, and feasting on the Word, as He is the Word.
The commissioning of the eagles will take place from the upper room. He will send out the eagles from the upper room filled with fire, marked by the revelation of Jesus, and having eyes that see with prophetic vision and clarity for this new apostolic era, by the equipping and sending out workers to disciple the body of Christ for Kingdom advancement.
By looking into the eyes of Jesus—the One whose eyes were like flames of fire—you receive an upgrade of sight in the spirit. And now you are being sent forth with heavenly INSIGHT and HINDSIGHT for this new Kingdom era.
Those who linger in the upper room will be the ones who carry the BREATH OF GOD in this new era that brings new believers into their Christ identity so they are weaponized with the boldness they need to advance His Kingdom.
His goodness, His kindness, and His love are beckoning you into the upper room. Shake off all that hinders you from coming into that place. The upper room, the place of the revealing of Jesus Christ and His fire falling -- a fresh commissioning... be prepared to discover and conquer new frontiers!
AFFIRMATIONS:
I forget those things which are behind and reach forth to the calling God has put into my heart. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14,15)
I have the mind of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5)
I always receive from God because I have faith and do not doubt. (Matthew 21:21,22)
Since I bear and keep on bearing lasting fruit for Jesus, whatever I ask the Father in Jesus’ name he will give it to me. (John 15:16)
