Ok havent been able to get on here in a while. Sorry!
Things have been up and down with Rogue and Shady recently. The got to the point were they were 'civil' to each other, but Rogue would still wind Shady up.
It got really bad and for a few days there was actual points were we had to lift Shady off Rogue... he would pin her down by the neck. There was never any puncture wounds but it still scared the daylights out of us, but Rogue would always bounce back and would soon be annoying him again.
I personally think it is a fight for dominence.
We took Rogue to the vets to get the last of her jags/wormer... and it was then we relised that she had a minor neck injury that was most likely down to the rough and tumble that was going on in the house. We had to delay the jags/wormer for a few days to allow the muscle to heal and for her to get the shock out of her system.
I now know that cats show shock in many ways, Rogues way was to sleep for ages but then act as though everything was fine. Yet as soon as things went wrong again she would sleep it out. Much like her human Mommy I think![Stick Out Tongue](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Anyways, we pampered her... and she got out back into her own room away from Shady. Basically they got a break from each other. She then got her jags/wormer and only then did we start the re-indroducing again. The actually did really well, and there has been no bad fights, just a couple of scraps - mainly b'cos Rogue still really winds Shady up all day. The fights normally happen at night when Shady can't run and hide outside to get away from her.
Our next 'big thing' will be our holiday.
Parents are away to the caraven, I am away to T In The Park... Grannie has Shady at her house and my Dad is about to come and pick Rogue up to stay his house.
Lets see the re-indroduction after this.......
