Seeing and Hearing Spirits

I guess you could say that I have been able to see and hear spirits for most my life. My Mom says that it runs on her side of the family. Since I was a kid it was like this for me. As a teen I was still trying to understand this. Though I often was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana it was mostly when I was totally aware of things that I mostly saw and heard these things. It was really creepy to feel that someone was around me when in fact it couldn't be seen. It has been 10 years since I quit abusing myself with drugs and it seems that this gift has become more sharp. From my experiences with the malevolent spirits at my other apartment to the place I live at now I seem to still have these experiences. I still continue to hear that old 1800's style train and the old mission bells at 2am even though there are no missions here on the North west side of San Antonio and the nearest churches do not ring their bells so late. On more than one occasion I have heard thesounds of a Native American Powwow going on. Just recently I was out checking the mail at night because it was hot in the day. As I was passing my neighbor's apartment I looked up to see if he was on his balcony but at that hour no one was out. When I was walking back from the mailbox I noticed that someone was standing onhis balcony looking out. I turned away and a split second later I looked back and it was gone. I never heard no doors close and this was too fast for anyone to make it down the stairs and get away. From where I sit at my computer Ihave a view of the kitchen and connecting hallway. Alot of times I will catch a sight of some one standing at the door just out of view to where you see the shoulders and head. Or someone will pass quickly and dissappear. A few times I have heard my name called.I am not talking about my nickname but my name in the proper way it is pronounced in spanish. The thing is the voice is no one I know.These things get to me but it is a part of me I must accept.

yeah i have seen and heard spirits most of my life ... and it gets crazy when you see things and then they are not there ... on more then afew times i catch glimps of shadows then go to look and nothings there , or i hear voices and i am the only one in the house ... very creepy but i am never afraid guess you can say i am use to it by now lol...Posted 07-14-2008 at 07:09 PM by brenda starz

I am 15 years old and I have been hearing seeing these spirits since i was about 8 years old, Ive never understood what this was till I was told by my friends grandma that she too knows what I hiding from the world I can never fully make out with what they are saying but I want to know who can anyone live with that it makes it unbearable to know something is there but you can't see it and when you can see them you think you are crazy how do ypu assure yourself your not?Posted 01-05-2009 at 02:04 AM by kookoo213

I get these random chills of terror but at times and then I feel like I can't move or I don't want to at times I am afraid to fall asleep. one of my friends has had an encounter with me and he is the only one I can really talk to at times but he hates the thought of it so I came here for an answer to deal with it others with the same "gift"Posted 01-05-2009 at 05:53 AM by kookoo213
