Someone went into my notifications page this morning and deleted a rep/comment by a poster with the remark N/A--no sign-off as to who but it has to be a Mod to have that access...
no reason as to why--

I have been on the boards this morning early but can't remember if I read that particular rep before it was taken down...

I find that type of censorship (yes--that is censorship) to be so frustrating---

I am an adult--If I have a problem with what someone posts on my page I am literate enough to contact a Moderator myself...
I don't need or want someone going into MY private business and deleting comments that THEY find inappropriate...

Surely that in itself is an abuse of the power given to moderators---
this is not 1984 folks....nor it is Egypt the last time I checked...

I don't see any reputation comments that have "N/A" as their message. There are a couple of blank ones, though. It does not show me if these were originally blank or altered; I'm pretty sure only Marka or Yac would be able to tell.

Moderators do not normally scour reputation comments and change them at their leisure. The only time I have ever made any sort of change to a reputation comment is at the poster's request. When I change a reputation message from something "bad", the new message will read: "Edited Reputation" and I send a DM back to the reporting poster.

Did you report a post recently? If so, perhaps the mod repped you for doing so -- when that happens, unless they take the time to sign it, it shows up as "N/A". Perhaps someone repped you for a post you made that's since been deleted? That would also show up as "N/A".

No mod is going to go into your rep comments, unasked, and delete anything.

I deleted no posts and got no rap for one a mod deleted
I had a mod give me a rep for reporting an ad yesterday--and that did not show up as NA

on my list--it was the second from the top that was deleted--showing N/A to me--

That is one of the ones that is showing up as blank. Send a DM to Marka or Yac and one of them should be able to tell you if it was written as such or changed.

The other possibility is that you received that rep for a post that was in a thread that was deleted. Before jumping to conclusions DM a mod to see what's up. As Rita & Dark said,we really don't have time or inclination to look through your rep comments.

N/A means inaccessible, not deleted. It means that the post you were repped for was deleted, not the comment. Alternatively, you were repped for reporting something. You can't access that report, either.

Yeah...it means that the thread or whatever was deleted. You still get the rep points, but now you can't reference back to what it was from.

I've had it happen as well. While I can not go back to the post that was repped because it was deleted the comment that was posted from the person that repped me was deleted as well and the N/A left instead of the comment. I've had it happen more than once.

Yes, in fact you did. As a personal attack.

In the future, I suggest you tone it down a little before you start accusing people, please.
