Hi, I signed up here with this username in November of 2011. It's my real first name with a random number. I decided to create a somewhat more humorous username so I created "PullMyFinger"
I logged out of this username intending to never use it again. Today I had a ban notification on my computer while logged in as "PullMyFinger" as banned for multiple accounts.
I could understand if I was being a tool and using both names and responding to myself with different points of view but I wasn't.
I would like to just use the "PullMyFinger" name and retire this one. I haven't been causing any trouble and the PMF username was getting good reps so I don't understand why this happened? Maybe it's automatic?
Just want to make it clear that I didn't nor did I intend to ever use both usernames at the same time. I didn't realize there would be a problem with starting a new one as long as I retired the old one.
My son noticed the other day that there is a games forum with an active "Skyrim" thread going, and I suggested he register as a member so he can post in that thread. If he does that, will it show up as my having two usernames here? Should I just let him post under my name instead?

Contact your favorite Moderator and they will make note of it so there is no confusion. When you contact them, give your user name, your son's username and what the circumstance is.

I'd suggest contacting Rita Mordio, as she's the moderator for the Video Games forum and would be most likely to notice the second account.
