We adopted two babies from Vietnam. They were only 4 months apart. One night the pizza delivery kid came to the front door. My husband opened the door with the girls about 14 months at the time behind him.
Kid: They are so cute. Are they twins?
Daddy: Thank you. No they aren't.
Kid: They aren't???
Daddy: No they are four months apart in age.
Kid: bewildered look on his face "How did you do that?"
Daddy: Easy.......Two different mothers!
Kid with eyes about to pop out of his face " OMG!"
Daddy: realizing what the kid was thinking "Yeah, it was a great summer" and he closed the door.
I'll never forget the look on the kids face and my husband never had so much fun jerking somebody around.
I read that one out loud to my hubby. LOL! Too funny!
