Unless you have bulletproof/unbreakable windows you would run a high risk of being shot, stabbed or beaten.

Can your car outrun a bullet? Do you honestly think people can prevent a carjacking simply by locking their doors?

I remember reading an article years ago about a South African company that designed flame-throwers to mount on the sides of cars to torch carjackers. Too bad they had to go to such extremes when all they really needed to do was lock their doors.
