Or neighboring countries. Due to Google shadowbans; all I can find are BBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, etc ... & AP newspaper sources.

That is not what I am looking for. Even FB pages would be preferable.

The last good sources I actually found here on City-Data from posters on this forum but that was a couple of years ago & I've lost those links.

I would like to read the real news, or at least read comments by people actually living there.

The weekly "Economist" news magazine has an Africa section. Most articles are paywalled, but is truly great coverage, well worth a weekly trip to your public or college library to read it.

Try the Africa54 channel. They seem to be a good source of information and can be found on youtube. Their latest update about the Congo was today.
