I have never lived in Ohio, i am from Pennsylvania, I came to this thread to look up something, what is really sad is that the statements made in this thread could be echoed in many parts of the country, WHO IS MAKING MONEY OFF OF SECTION 8 ?? in Philadelphia, once nice stable neighborhoods have been decimated by section 8, crimes like murder never happened in these areas, but once sec 8 started in a area the crime began, drugs, home invasions.

i am a disabled section 8 recipient. it really really sucks living in the zahn/treeside area. this place is scary and loud and REALLY dirty. I understand why landlords don't want to rent decent places to these idiots! people don't even watch their kids here... they are constantly tearing up my yard and i caught someone up on my porch the other day going through my neighbors ashtray! i guess my point is-- please don't stigmatize everyone who receives help. I hate it as much as you do! As for how to stop the spread of it- don't sell your houses. unless there's a bus stop in your front yard.
