I need a trustworthy contractor to work on my house that flooded during the harsh winter, and I am having a difficult time finding one who will do the repairs for the money insurance is giving. We are insured for more; yet, honestly, the insurance company covered the damage in their report.
It's just that the contractors seem to have two obstacles. First, the water restoration people did not tackle much of what they were paid to do, so insurance might help there since they now realize that fact, and a contractor shouldn't have to handle that. Also, it seems that some might do a fabulous kitchen; yet, there's an entire finished basement that was destroyed among damage in other areas.
I am without a kitchen, need hardwood floors in 3 areas, all new kitchen cabinets (and I must say, I do love Mullet, but can't get a contractor to do the house which would have to be done prior to the cabinets being built), have a totally destroyed finished basement ...
My neighbor used Amish who did a beautiful job for far less; yet, I don't seem to be getting their names
Any suggestions?
