I was curious, what are some of the best cities and towns in Alabama where you can see a lot of antebellum and Victorian era mansions and homes, along with those southern live oaks or magnolia trees.

I'd say Mobile, especially since live oaks don't grow in most of the state.

Huntsville has a fairly large collection of antebellum homes that wasn't burned by the northern aggressors during the Civil War (Twickenham Historic District).

Mobile and Eufaula are the two obvious ones. Selma and Demopolis to a lesser degree.
