Default Thank you so much for such a detailed information

Hello Zedzul

Your post was a great help for me!!!!!!!I appreciate your help very much!!...Also ,thanks for all the links...I will most likely "copy" your trip but I might do it "the other way round"...Anchorage-Whittier-Waldez (may use Alaska ferry ,perhaps)-Talkeetna-Denali....Kenai peninsula - and back to Anchorage for my flight back (Seattle-Honolulu)...I decided that ,like yourself,I am not going to make any reservations...I will try to "improvise" and have more "adventurous trip"..that way.I hate to be on some self created unflexible "schedule",anyway...Once again, thank you very much for taking time to share your fabulous trip( and absolutely awesome photos) with us ....I am counting my days....untill September ...Best of luck with your next trip and your photographic endeavors!!!!-Anya

if you were born in Alaska you wouldn't be able to say "Älgabäcksryd"
I am still trying to figure out how it is pronounced. Good thing I will be able to find out from our mutual friend

Hello Myfask

I stayed in what was called hotel Seward. The rooms were nice but not the best, it was not on the water but it was really close to the one "downtown" Strip (downtown is probably to big a word for it but a strip with 5-6 small stores and some dinning places) as wall as walking distance from the Sealife center. The hotel itself was nice as well as reasonably priced for Alaska (I think it was about $120 a night)

Zedzel,

I am soooo envious of your photos! I've lived here 16 years and don't have the kinds of photos you seemed to capture on a 10 day trip! (I'll blame it on being in the Bush! Yep, that's it! Bush life! Makes one lazy!!!)

Note to self: start taking camera & lenses everywhere...

Truly enjoyed all your pictures and want to thank you for them!

Can you tell me how you got them posted? I occasionally have one I would like to put on a post but can't get it here to post!

Thanks for your help!
