Me too. Why search for paradise when you have it in your own backyard?

Thank you GrammasCabin for your input! I'll have to see where this goes and maybe I'll be visiting soon! Wrangell sounds like a friendly kind of place

I wouldn't leave a place like that either. Beautiful and peaceful.

It's better than living in Wisconsin...any day.

Well of course it rains. And it's cloudy and the wind blows. It's a rainforest.
That's when you gather your friends, put up a tarp and have a party.

And that makes those sunny, clear days priceless.

I had just remembered once reading the weather forecast for Wrangell in about a 2 week period, think it was raining the total 14 days. It would crack some people up , that are not used to the lack of sunshine.

I tromp on up to rainbow falls every now & then just to prove I can still do it.
You have an open invitation to stay in my little floathouse whenever you get to Wrangell. Not many amenities but the view's pretty good and there's a skiff right out front to catch yer fish in.

Sorry, dog's included.
What great pictures. I like pics that show something about the POV of the picture taking, as well as the breathtaking ones. Cute dog.
