I heard that he was doing something more online with horsing around and one of the two moved the wrong way and the rest is history. Now the gal is going to be tormented for the rest of her life wondering if she could have avoided it or caused it. Tough burden to carry.

My heart goes out to her.

Starlite9 - you can kind of read into that in the report.... It is sad and I do feel for her. Being involved in your loved one's death, whether your fault or not is a tough to deal with. Hopefully she has a support system around her to help through this.

Yeah, that kinda meshed with what I was told...

I do hope your thoughts about a support group is around her, she will need all the friends she can get about now!

Such a wasteful loss of life... There is too many things in life that will take you out, why would someone wish to hurry the event by inattention!

Maybe its better to die doing what you love than dieing of old age or from something else having never achieved ones dream of flying. At least he was up there doing it. Im sure there are thoes that go to their graves never being able to come up with the money to get in the air in their own plane.

It wasn't his own plane though. He died of stupidity, that pretty much sums it up.

Planes are not toys... that was totally stupid is an understatement!

Yet it is very sad. that horsing around led to a death!! Common sense says stay away from the other plane; this isn't a 3 lane highway. Wind(s) can easily blow that craft into someone too close.

sounds as though over confidence in ones abilities lead to disaster....
