The only thing up for discussion (that would probably lead to this thread getting locked down) is what's causing global warming.
Yup. More warming = More energy in the system = More amplified jet streams (leading to colder troughs and warmer ridges).

^ Fort Yukon's getting 53 below tonight and 54 below tomorrow night. Not exactly "warm" up there! Although by Monday it will reach a balmy 4 below. Those Gwich'in are tough!

You guys can't have your cake and eat it too.

When winters get colder, the polar ice freezes deeper, it doesn't melt off earlier then.

The programs that they used to "Guess" about global warming were proven to be skewed by false data by the folks that were getting massive grants in an attempt/prove that the planet is heating up because man did it. Follow the money....!

This is just a cycle in the planets long history and appears we are headed towards cooling now... Depends on what the sun decides to do, not Al Gore, who by the way has kinda closed his mouth and whimpered away...

What happens when you put more energy into a wave? Do the waves get bigger or smaller?

We have been measuring the weather and climate for 100's of years keeping detailed records.

Then came the massive industrial revolution along with massive population growth world wide = same weather and climate for hundreds of years. Nothing has changed except man's greed for $. GLOBAL GOVERNANCE through mass deception! The earth goes through cycles. It is more than obvious; even to the un-trained eye.

I don't see that much difference; from when I was just a little kid 60 some years ago. I'm still a little kid however, and, that will never change no matter what the weather or climate is like.
