Nice!

I especially like that Little Togiak shot, and the shot of the deepest part of the lake.

The beginnings of the new 6 frequency 31 foot geodesic dome home currently disguised as a kids jungle gym on my land in Delta. So far I've built it completely by myself from raw 1 inch galvanized steel tubing (555 individual pieces) and covered it with multiple layers of poultry netting, which will soon be covered by ferrocement. I will be grinding up a whole bunch of EPS styrofoam insulation and mixing it directly with Portland cement making a very lightweight concrete. Anyways, it's my new house, I have about $2500 invested so far not including the land. I also believe it will be natural disaster proof. It has lots of defensible space and can't burn, and I'd be quite suprised if it ever blew away. I'll post more pictures here in the next month or two when it's done. Only in Alaska is it completely acceptable to live like this!

One inch steel in a geodesic grid, covered in ferrocement? King Kong would have to put some effort into smashing that.

Nearby Llewellyn Glacier, in Atlin BC
