I left at midnight. I didn't fish, just tended the fire and sipped blackberry brandy. My buddy dropped his maglight down his fish hole...so walking back across the lake, looking for the parking lot in the dark, was an adventure in itself. With me it's not so much about catching fish, but about being out there.
