I love the way the eagles just pop out of the pics with the frost. Great job Rance!
We had Ice frost this morning too but I didn't take any pics.

Here's some pics from driving around Palmer and a bit north.
I have a question....on the first pic........did I catch a sun dog off to the upper left of the sun??

If I'm not mistaken, the extra sun is a reflection off the inside of the lens definitely not a dog but awesome shots anyway, LOOOVE the 4th one with the fog strips hanging in the foreground!

Well I drove out to Skilak and saw about a hundred of those meteors. They are still raging and it's now almost 1:00 AM. The dang things are all over the sky. I'll bet I took a hundred pictures every 30 seconds. Most were so fast and small the camera couldn't get them. But there were two bright ones. The brightest lit up everything like a flash bulb. Naturally it was behind me while exposing in the opposite direction. The second brightest I actually captured!

Then it fogged up out at the lake, so I played with painting. I used my brake lights to paint these trees.

I came home and caught some slight green on the horizon in the driveway, where the Anchorage lights are not so intense on the horizon.

I had so much fun standing for 3 hours in zero degrees...I may try it again tomorrow!

No? I think I saw nearly a hundred in 3 hours last night. It has clouded up here so I don't think I'll get to see any tonight.
