I go to Alaska for the summer. You can find seasonal jobs and the weather is nice. Fishing is incredible also. Once the fireweed peaks, it's time to head back south.

I really doubt that he has been here, just reads the blogs and throws the names around that he read about at one time. If he accually said where he might have worked, anyone of the locals can call their friends and check if they felt so inclined.
There are those that want to be in Alaska and I can understand that, but the ones that want to sound as if they have been here for whatever reason are kinda like those that pretend to be ex military and have fake awards. Just wantabe's that really don't have a life, and they want to sound important to somebody... which is just sad.
Outsiders really don't grasp just how small Alaska is when it comes to people here. There is rarely a town or place here that most can't go to and not run into someone they know or meet someone that knows a common friend.
So these guys that spout a lot of "Bull" about Alaska, don't realize just how transparent they really are.
