My wife moved here from Sverige. Prior to us getting married she would come stay for up to 90 days. No visa needed. But she had to return to her country before those 90 days were up.
To move here you would need a green card yes. To make things easier you could marry a US citizen, or if your rich with cash can get some sort of visa if you came to start a business, or if your highly skilled in some sort of occupation that is desperately needed here you can get in with that.

Being from Finland, you should also be able to visit for up to 90 days with no visa. The US has a pact with Scandinavia that allows us to travel to those countries for up to 90 days...and citizens of those countries to visit here for up to 90 days. You might consider paying Alaska a visit!

Just a sidenote - Iceland Air now flies directly to Anchorage in late spring through early fall. So, it's surprisingly quick and not astronomically expensive to get from Scandinavia to Alaska. Might be hitting a music festival in Helsinki next spring in fact
.
It's common for non-citizens to work summer jobs in Alaska, though I'm sure you're still subjected to the 90 day rule.
