Oh man!!! I feel for you!!

I turned the television on and Stephen King's, 'The Storm of the Century' (I think that's the title) is on. The first scene I see is a blizzard in this small Maine town on an island. I opened the curtains and see a similar scene outside my windows.

Some good football on yesterday! Glad to see the Chargers win and put the Colt's out of the running. Now if the Vikings can just pull through today.
Vikings pull through...that's almost funny after this long...

Driving home from having Christmas with my grandson in Monroe MI, (about 30 miles north of me)today I followed a pickup with AK plates all the way to OH. I so wanted to flag him over and find out where he was from and why he was so far from home. Gave me a little smile anyway

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but does anyone have a good, EASY recipe w/little to no ingredients for a 1/2 lb. piece of salmon? I'm trying to start the new year off w/eating fish at least once a week (I'm not a fan of fish). So I got a piece today....should I just broil it w/some olive oil, salt & pepper? Pan fry it? Bake it? I'm useless when it comes to fish.

GRILLED SALMON
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
2 lb. fresh salmon steaks, 1" thick

Melt butter and next 4 ingredients to make an herb butter baste. Place fish on well greased grill 4" to 6" from gray ashed coals for 6 to 8 minutes. Baste with herb butter sauce. Carefully turn baste and cook 6 to 8 more minutes. Remove, place on platter. Drizzle with remaining sauce.

I cooked some up the other day with just rubbing of spices in a cast skillet. Kind of blacken style. Yummy

aurora, that sounds simple & delicious, except it's fricking cold here & I live in an apt. bldg. so I can't bring out my grill. I really need to get one of those griddle thingies for my range top. Although I suppose I could do it in a pan.
