$130 is really cheap, even for seattle.
Maybe the ticket is more expensive during peak season?

Not to be mean, but DUH! Everything is more expensive during peak, EVERYWHERE.

Wow, I've not found $130 tickets even from Seattle. Flying from Denver I thought was reasonable at $425, I was expecting much higher in June! I've already looked for August and the only hang I can say is "OUCH!"

If you look at the date on the post quoting the $130 ticket, it was 2008.

I sure wish it were cheaper to fly to or from Alaska, I have a son I haven't seen since 2005. I'd have to pay 3 rt plane fares though to bring my other kids.

Gobrien- that's honestly one of my fears is that we won't be able to afford to visit anyone and no one will visit us! Really praying we can sell Alaska to our friends and family. :-)

Can I ask why Juneau? Is there something in particular you are wanting to do there?

Alaska Airlines is the only way to get from Anchorage to Juneau. It won't be cheap.

I think that most people perusing this thread are outside of the means to rent an RV from Anchorage to Seward.
