Well the Alaska section isn't very lively at 8am est. I really wish I could spend at least a week in all the places that I can only spend a few hours in on the cruise. I'm really looking forward to the trip but...

I know...I personally have not been drawn to the whole cruise thing b/c I don't like the whole "drive by" aspect of it. I really like to get around and explore, stay in an area for a period of time, meet people and get a real sense of the communities. Look at it this way: you get a taste of what's out there and then on your next trip, you hone your radar in on specifics.
