Hi, I just wanted to let anyone who is adopted in Alaska , they can request their Original birth cert.

And to sign up with the state. Put a consent form in their state file, so if any family comes along looking for them, they can get the information to contact you. (that is personal if you wish to put the consent forms.)

if you are waiting to get your pre-adopt, you can stop by 3601 c st suite 128, or they can call 907-269-0991, and ask for the pre adoption form to be mailed to them..
The form will need to be notarized, and forwarded/ sent to the special services unit in Juneau.. the fee is $30, and you will get your pre-adopt in about 6 weeks..
If only parent is in the pre-adopt, you will never be able to add that second parent, due to they didn’t sign the adoption paperwork..
