My name is Brett Archer,
I recently moved up to Kenai to go to KPC. I have had many jobs and have a lot of experience in everything from meal server at a rest home to construction laborer I am a very hard worker. I am looking for ANY available part time position. If you have any ideas at all please post them. Thank you!

Well if your looking for part time you can write off oilfeild work. Check the Clarion or http://www.jobs.state.ak.us/ and you may have some luck.

Default work in alaska

I am not from Alaska and actually I live in Michigan, but my ex-husband and my daughter live out there. How far are you from Ninilchik? I was just going to post my own thread for my daughter about anyone knowing about any possible work out there in Ninilchik? She can do and learn just about anything. The only other thing I could suggest to you is to go see if any of the fisheries are hiring yet.

Ninilchik is about 1/2 hour to 45 minute drive south from Kenai. A person could commute to Kenai or Soldotna from there easily enough. I don't think there will be any cannery work starting until April or May when Herring season starts. There is a small processing plant in Ninilchik along the highway. Doubt they have work right now. babycakes56 I'd have them check the places I posted above to BrettArcher. And also get out and beat the streets. Pretty rare someone just hands you a job. You have to get out and knock on doors so to speak. You're ex have a CDL? Plenty of work for drivers right now state wide.
