[SIZE=3]TAURID METEOR WATCH: [/SIZE]The annual Taurid meteor shower peaks Nov. 5th through 12th, and it could be a good show. 2008 is a "swarm year" for the Taurids: Earth is due to pass through a swarm of gritty debris from parent comet 2P/Encke. When the same thing happened in 2005, sky watchers observed a slow drizzle of midnight fireballs for nearly two weeks. Be alert for Taurids: sky map.

It is lovely. I've seen two flakes of snow blow across my vision outdoors...but the moon is lovely in the mist

Hey Cori, those pics you posted last time of the great auroras was that seen like that with the naked eye or only by camera? I may have asked this before, can't remember, sorry if I did. Thanks

The brilliance of the green was not as discernible by the naked eye...but you could definitely see the Lights without the camera.
