Hi all I want to again thank you for your advice and information when I posted previously. I am now living in the great state of alaska loving the snow. Now Ive got to see whats here in Wasilla and the surrounding community. . Any info

Yeah take a drive up north past the Talkeetna turn off and have a view of Denali. Then take another trip south of Anchorage and see Seward and Homer. Try to pick a clear day. Maybe swing into Girdwood and ride the tram up the mountain.

hello I have been here 3 days my car will not be here for another couple of weeks (hopefully) the car they rented me is not set up for a road trip mine is so it will be a while but I will explore. Ive driven to palmer scince it is not far away but alot of fog has been here cant see the scenery through it. Any other going ons you here of let me know. Thanks

Welcome! The fog should be leaving us this day. Can your rental handle the highway? If so, start driving north on Parks Highway...Denali was out in fine form yesterday, not a cloud in sight. But the drive is a lovely one.

Yeah! And it's only a 2 1/2 hour trip through some very scenic mountians and coastal waters.
