I'm actually amazed we still have power.

Yeah, I gotta get an emergency kit together. It is a good idea. I should have a couple Rubbermaid totes with essentials in case of a real emergency or multi-day power outage.

Ocean spray is flying over the breakwater. Lots of trees going to be down and work to be done when it calms down, I guess.

WARNING: Don't plan to be riding the ferry for a few days!
That would be a great idea for you to do. Emergency kits are a must.
I have friends in Thorne Bay and they said it was quite windy there also.

Now THAT is truly talent--to put all those words together in an actual sentence! I am in awe

Yup...heard a tree went down into a house over by ballpark...not sure whose house or extent of damage. Too early to know what the status is up on north end for trees being down but I would guess--people are riding around with chainsaws in their trucks, that's for sure!

It's letting up a tad at the moment but still heavy gusts. So much for hunting this weekend!

Mal, please create a real sentence that uses the following words:

byzantine
flatulent
moribund
pionjar (pronounced "**** * jar")--please don't laugh; it's a real word.

A byzantine plot caused a moribund corpse to exhibit flatulence upon removal by the ambulance crew.

Don't know what pionjar means....

You mean like:

The perfect Christmas gift for those moribund people that are terminally flatulent is the byzantine Pionjar 120 hand-held powered drill!

ROFL!!

You guys are great, but Glitch wins this one! Mal, son't feel bad...almost no one who hasn't worked with one of these Swedish bastards would know what a pionjar is. I had the first-time pleasure this summer to become acquainted with a pionjar. I'm thinking of making a tee-shirt--but I doubt my employer would sanctify what I want to create!

Nice job. More virtual scrabble to come.

Yeah, if the potential gift-giver didn't self-terminate on seeing the price!

If summer stress is getting you down, take a trip down-under for a little rest and relaxation at the Poinjar Lagoon.
