I seem to think our pre-move thread also morphed into a favorite-tools thread.........but it was all about the wives.
I see common discussions, tools and food. Hmmmmmmm....

And Freud also thought up the thing about cigars. Bill Clinton just wanted to test the theory. Wasn't it Samuel Clemens who said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

I believe so. Personally, I think Freud had some hang up or another. Jung was a bit more profound. I could never figure out if Freud had an Oedipus Complex or no....it would explain a bit rather neatly.

Overly developed ego, and not enough id. Probably never got beyond the anal in his formative years. Possibly warped by potty training.

The man was definitely twisted, but did have some seriously decent insights to human development. Jung seemed a little more straight forward, and easier to follow. I think Freud lent his insights more towards abnormal psych, even if he wasn't thinking along those lines. Sometimes it takes one to know one, if you catch my drift.

Yes, I do. I think you've nailed it well, Mal. Freud had some intriguing ideas, perhaps a bit muddled at times. Jung was definitely easier to follow.
