Hi everyone far away in Alaska & Chukotka,

Luyty is right, it's hard to know the gender. I thought blueflames50 was male ! (the welding reference)

Nuala is an old Gaelic name, I guess I've been influenced by Gaelic roots of Nova Scotia. And I'm female

They have the programs here too, which when Lizzy relapsed last summer the doctor actually told me to go apply in case she needed to see someone out of state. We have too many assets at this point to qualify and he is working so we are just doing what we need to at the moment. With the money from the bailout, the Cobra amount is way less than normal (about $200 per person) for the next nine months, after that ....it pretty much triples...

yeah I know where your at...it stinks...we have "too much" to qualify for anything...yet we have worked all our lives (an we're a lot older than you) paid into the system, paid our bills and worked hard to be where we are...fall on hard time 'cuz some smuck corporate persons decision with a multimillion dollar salary shuts the company down... but crack 'hoa's" system suckers, drug users can get all the health insurance and benefits but we have to lose everything to get any help..We had to take pizz tests, drug tests to get a paycheck or job but welfare ooops "transitional assistance" people can get a check with no testing...well we are the transitional people now and where is our fininacial help???
