Fried or baked corn tortilla chips, layered with creamy cheese, and anything you want to add....black olives, hot chili peppers, chili, onions etc all heated and you eat with your fingers....darn now I'm hungry for Nachos!!!

They are heaven...like Blueflame said, it's tortilla chips topped w/grated chihuahua or cheedar cheese, refried beans, jalapenos, tomatos, whatever you want. Then you bake it in like say 375 degree oven for maybe 15 minutes, or until you see everything melted & for me, I like there to be burnt cheese involved. Then, you take it out, serve w/guacamole, sour cheese & plenty of beer & voila! A very very very very happy evening, guaranteed.

Nachos are corn chips, covered with melted shredded cheese (people can add hot peppers and olives in there) , and the dish is eaten chip by chip, dipped into sour cream and salsa.

Voila (French) is ta-da! (вот так!)
