Obviously the Palin-obsessed liberal freaks care, or this thread wouldn't exist. Next they will be complaining that her grass is too tall or not green enough for their tastes.

Here is a fish and game map of Lake Lucille.

Lake Stocking Data - Sport Fish Division - ADF&G

It has fish in it but as you can see, it's a very shallow lake and doesn't lend itself to overwintering fish. For those outside of Alaska it might be good to know that a lake with a higher volume of water, (deeper lakes), can store more oxygen in the water and allow fish to live under the ice all winter long. When we get a heavy snowfall that does not allow light throught the ice the underwater plants die and don't produce any oxygen, then the fish use it all up and die off if there isn't enough stored in the water.

At least, I think that's how it works, I'm not a biologist. I do know that it is fairly common for shallow lakes in our area to lose ALL their fish after a severe winter. Apparently this happened in 2002 here. I know I saw lots of people fishing there before that time.
