Thanks for the info Warpt. I must have spent at least an hour looking through as many pictures as I could. I was there for a couple of days from the 14th to the 18th of Feb to take a poke around the town & see what it was like before I accept a job offer from the city. A lot of friendly people and good experiences. As for the weather, no big deal. That's what they have thermal/cold gear for. I'll be back the beginning of next week to start work & become a more permanent resident of Bethel, AK. Look forward to seeing you all out there.

What department are you going to be working in? As for weather recently... I love me some attached garage at the house.
I'm seeing the forecast is to -20 this weekend before wind... I'm leaving Friday for a Very Big City and the temps there have been around 60 degrees. MMmmmm....

I always enjoy a challenge in new areas.
Creebo where abouts are you going to? It's been in the 60's the past few days here where I am & it's been great.
