This might sound like a strange question, but...

My aunt's best friend is in hospice and will be passing away shortly. I'd like to arrange for a few meals to be delivered to her home so she doesn't have to cook for herself in the days following the funeral. I'm out of state and was thinking maybe I could send her a gift certificate for a restaurant close to her home that delivers. I'm looking for something a lit1`tle more upscale than your standard pizza or Chinese delivery...

Does anybody have any idas? She lives in the St. Peter's Hospital/Albany Academy area. Thanks!

It doesn't sound strange at all. You sound like a very thoughtful person. Life goes on even when you don't want to take care of everyday things.

Anton's Restuarant is not upscale, but it is right across from the hospital. I don't know if they regularly deliver, but the owners are super people, and I'm sure if you call and explain your situation, they will take care of you. The owner is Mr. (Mike?) Anton.

As I think of more, I'll write in, but Anton's popped right into my head.

That sounds perfect. I'll give them a call and see if we can arrange something. Thank you!
