My husband and I are moving back to the capital district after finishing Chiropractic school at the beginning of April. Any tips on finding an apartment that will be available to rent around that time?
I'd suggest moving to Troy. Don't believe the negative things you hear about it! Yes, there are very shady parts just like any other city, including Albany. I would steer clear of the "Ave's" (2nd Ave, 5th Ave, etc.) The Washington Park area of Troy is very nice! I live there now. I feel very safe, it a a little more $ than other parts of Troy but worth it, and the old historic building are amazing! Here is their local website that has apartment listings for Washington Park area! Good Luck!
