I believe the cows have just as much right to be here and roam the land as humans do...

Some peole think humans deserve more than the other creatures on this planet... but they don't.

Free range?? They do have fences don't they?

Whats the diffrence between cows roaming around the the giant moose we had killing people in Maine?? Besides the fact that we treat cows like crap, pieces of meat instead of actual animals.

No they don't. Free range means free range. If you want to keep them out, it's up to you to build the fence. I don't think you can really equate cattle with wild game. The cattle are owned by someone, wild animals are not.

I think it's kinda cool and wild westy. I was afraid about my dog harassing them when we were out running, but he left them alone. Of course, the whole grazing rights and environmental issues are another story!

Cattle were first domesticated from wild Bovine in the Middle-East. Let them free-range there. Here they are a nuisance. If we are going to put up with a nuisance, why not Bison which, at the very least, belong here and a far tastier.

Guess I missed this giant killer moose? Where was it in Maine.

I know people get killed when they hit a moose, but moose do not go out looking to kill people.

Sounds like there is a break in the fence allowing the cattle to wander into Northern Meadows.

In my opinion, if your cow wanders onto my property, that's just free steak for the taking.
