I didn't put the '***' in there.

I typed "circu****ence" just like in the dictionary.
( we'll see how this post comes out )

Testing: [Cummins] [Cumb Gap, Tennessee] [incumbent] [cumulative]
[cumulus] [scum] [circumcise] [circumspect] [circumlocution]
[succumb] [recumbent]
[CUMC] (Community United Methodist Church) <End Test>

OK, let's see how *this* post turns out.

It did it again. You can't post the word c-i-r-c-u-m-f-e-r-e-n-c-e.

I'll try it again: circu****ence <----- no asterisks here at all

Default funny

Mortimer,

I pretty much figured that you weren't censoring yourself. (That would be completely out of character for you. )

The software that regulates "obscenities" just doesn't like the m-f-e-r character combination. Take a close look at the combo and I'm pretty sure you'll figure out why. (Pretty silly to censor something that is already "pre-censored", if you ask me).

Anyway, that's where my comment came from.

And those are still some gosh darn big trees!

Chap

Default Rio Rancho

Many of these opinions are interesting. Rio Rancho is an extremely diverse area with people coming from all over the United States and the world. This is unlike Albuquerque. Also, there is very little crime in Rio Rancho compared to any areas of Albuquerque. There is a considerably higher rate of adults with their Bachelors degrees or better than in Albuquerque. Just look at the stats on this site. School system is considered much better than Albuquerque. I guess when Rio Rancho "grew up" it outgrew it's neighbor?

Default Rio Rancho

Rio Rancho has been hit like all American cities, but consider: by reviewing this and other City-Data type sites, it appears that Rio Rancho has a considerably better real estate market. Adjusting for population, much fewer foreclosures, houses on market and our values have remained much more stable than Albuquerque or Santa Fe.

As an Albuquerquean, I think Rio Rancho is great!

It would make a terrific setting for a real-life Stepford Wives or Children of the Corn or pretty much any George Romero zombie film. After the post election 'Run on Guns', I'm ready for it.

Wasn't Rio Rancho originially built to be a retirement community?

Heck I love living here, and I far from being a Stepford Wife. But, then again, we did move here from another state. LOL

We just felt Rio Rancho better fit our needs than anything else around. Our lease is up next July and who knows where we will be. Still hoping for Grants, but it doesn't look too promising right now. Time will tell.

Don't worry AlisonL, I don't think everyone in Rio Rancho is a Stepford wife, just most. Plus I'm mean and like to say mean things. ;-)

So you're saying it's no longer a retirement community? lol
