My elderly aunt lives in the rio rancho area and her evaporative cooler has “stopped working”. I’m a general contractor and could probably fix whatever the problem is with the thing myself, but unfortunately I’m 1500 miles away. She had a big HVAC company come out and look at it (and charged her $120 !!!) and they told her it would cost $2200.00 to install a new one, which I think is absolutely absurd for an evaporative A/C.

Because she’s an eledery women I’m worried about contractors taking advantage of her… soooo if anyone knows of a good HONEST A/C contractor, I would be very grateful for a recommendation.

Thanks in advance!
