Thanks to this thread my husband and drove down Alameda from our NE Heights home and took a beautiful drive through Los Ranchos. The Cottonwoods are a brilliant yellow right now, and we loved seeing the mix of houses down there. We also stumbled across a beautiful winery, which we plan to go to with some out-of-town friends soon.
