Hi --

We will be on a multi-month western road trip in our camper-van. Partway through (mid-April til end of May) we will take a break from the van and head to Europe/UK (building the trip around a family event in UK in mid-May).

Flying into/out of ABQ or SAF would be perfect, but we need a safe and secure place to park the camping van for 6 weeks. In the past years we have done this in airport owned lots in Austin, and off-airport parking lots in Seattle.

Criteria: fenced, lighted, secure. 24 hour patrol? Shuttle service to ABQ. Monthjly rate or weekly rate would be ideal.

Suggestions for either official airport parking or commercial off-airport parking would be much-appreciated!

Thanks!

There is a large lot just west of the Airport. I've never used it, so can't vouch for it - but looks well used and fenced in. Advertised prices are far lower than off-airport parking I've seen in other cities.

We use that lot every time we fly out of the Sunport. The longest time we've been gone has been about 3 weeks, but it looks like they do longer term. They have frequent shuttles to the terminal, which is very close. We've never had an issue with their service.

I'd definitely contact them with any questions.

many hotels close to the airport offer long-term parking at reasonable prices. And you don't have to stay there (though you can at a discount). Done it many times. Go online and type in ABQ sunport parking and you'll see a bunch.
