2 new indulgences for us- a YETI Chocolate stout ( that started as part of my meatloaf recipe) and a red "Super Tuscan" blend called 1967 which we bought at Trader Joe's for around $8. That was a surprisingly delicious wine for the price!

There has also been some consumption of Fresca with gin and a hit of lime.

last night at Turning Point Beer:

Mazdarati - imperial stout with bones macadamia nut coffee (tree nut free). 12.2% abv.
#BreakfastBros - collaboration with Celestial Beerworks. Imperial stout with Cinnamon Toast Crunch1, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 12% abv.
Death to Smoothie - sour with raspberry, chocolate, and strawberry. 6.5% abv.
Death to Smoothie - sour with blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry. 6.5% abv.

I just went to Wild Acre for the first time over the weekend, not bad beers. I’ll have to check out Turning Point sometime.

Turning Point is one of my favorites in DFW along with False Idol and Celestial. Hope you get a chance to check them out soon

Hard to beat the venues at Hop and Sting in Grapevine, 3 Nations in Carrollton, and Maple Branch in Fort Worth, but their brews aren't quite up to par with False Idol. You been to Pathfinder in Weatherford?

Yeah, those are some nice venues. I have not made my way out to Pathfinder. I never really go to Weatherford.
